Asus Zenfone 3, Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra and Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe will be unveiled in India on August 17. Asus has mailed out media invites for the launch of the new Zenfone 3 variants at its upcoming Z3nvolution event in India.
With the taglines “Evolution is good”, “Evolution signifies change” and “Evolution creates a better world”, the new Asus Zenfone 3 will be launched by Jerry Shen, Asus CEO.
The main attraction of the Asus Zenfone 3 is that all the three variants come with Full HD display with a fingerprint sensor on the rear. Moreover, all the three smartphones will be loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Asus Zenfone 3 Specifications
Asus Zenfone 3 features a 5.5-inch FHD Super IPS+ 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protected display, Snapdragon 625 processor, Adreno 506 graphics, a 3000mAh battery coupled with both 3GB and 4GB RAM. The 3GB RAM will have a 32GB internal storage, while 4GB RAM model will be equipped with a 64GB storage space.
On the camera front, the Zenfone 3 will offer 16MP rear 6P Largan lens camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash including a 4 Stop OIS. The device also features an 8MP 88-degree wide-angle lens sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
With a weight of 155 grams, the dual Hybrid SIM Zenfone 3 bears a thickness of 7.69mm. The new smartphone will provide support for all major connectivity features and sensors.
Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra Specifications
On the specifications front, the Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra will offer a 6.8-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 652 processor, Adreno 510 graphics, up to 4GB RAM and 128GB expandable internal storage starting from 32GB. The handset draws power from a 4600mAh battery with fast charging support.
The rear camera will be equipped with a 23MP Sony IMX318 sensor with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS. However, the front-facing snapper will be loaded with an 8MP 85-degree wide viewing angle sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
Speaking about audio enhancements, the Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra will be powered by dual five-magnet stereo speakers, NXP smart amplifier including high-resolution audio. With a weight of 233 grams, the dual Hybrid SIM Zenfone 3 Ultra will have a thickness of 6.8mm coupled with support for all major connectivity features.
Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe Specifications
Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe features a 5.7-inch FHD Super AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protected display, Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 graphics, 6GB RAM, up to 256GB expandable internal storage, 3000mAh battery with BoostMaster fast charging capability. The Deluxe version will borrow the same camera and audio features from the Ultra variant.
We expect Asus to reveal the pricing and other exciting launch offers during the event. As usual, the new smartphones will be exclusively available via Flipkart. However, there is also a possibility for Asus to tie-up with Amazon and Snapdeal.
