Asus unveiled a wide range of new desktops and laptops under its flagship Republic of Gamers (ROG) series starting at Rs. 82,490 in Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper color variants.

Equipped with Quad core 6th Gen Intel core i7 (Skylake), NVIDIA GeForce GTX 900 series graphics card and efficient cooling techniques, Asus has launched two gaming grade desktops (ROG G20 and ROG GT51) with refined aesthetics and four high performance (ROG G501VW, ROG G551VW, ROG G752VY and ROG GL552VW) notebooks.

Commenting on the launch, Peter Chang, Regional Head – South Asia & Country Manager revealed that the new products are exclusively designed by taking into account the emerging needs of the gaming technology and the gamers alike. Even though gamers are looking forward to upgrade and enhance their systems once in a year due to changing technology, they also demand that the machines should be portable and lightweight.

Chang disclosed that the new ROG series cater to the demands of both the beginners, mainstream and advanced gamers. Moreover, with efficient cooling mechanisms in place via Hyper Cool technology, gamers will be able to play continuously for long period of time without any difficulty.

While Asus ROG GT51 (Rs. 3,25,900) features Intel Core i7-6700K processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X with the ability to overclock with just one click via ROG Turbo Gear, Asus ROG G20CB (Rs. 1,22,990) is a compact and console-sized 9.5-liter gaming desktop with refined aesthetics with the latest M.2 PCIe Gen 3×4 SSD, which is four times faster than SATA SSDs.

Except G752VY (Rs. 179,990), which features GeForce GTX 980m graphics card coupled with 3D Vapor Chamber and anti-ghosting gaming keyboard, all the other laptops ships with NVidia GTX960M graphics. Both Asus G501VW (Rs. 95,490) and G551VW (Rs. 1,00,490) ships with 4K IPS panel with 178-degree viewing angles, ASUS SonicMaster, ROG AudioWizard technologies powered by a 16GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB SSD. The G501VW, meanwhile, provides support for up to 512GB SSD storage.

Inspired by the F22 Stealth fighter aircraft, the GL552VW (Rs. 82,490) provides all new metallic design with 16GB RAM, 1TB of storage including an optional 128GB SSD space.

Asus ROG series desktops and laptops will be available from all major retail stores and Asus exclusive stores by the end of April.
