Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) will reportedly unveil its new Apple TV on September 9 that exclusively integrates gaming. According to New York Times’ report, a Cupertino-based company is busy executing plans on offering a new product that features gaming as its integral part.
Apple’s upcoming device will reportedly carry a starting price around $150. The new Apple TV will feature better graphics, an app store for purchasing games and a new remote that will likewise act as a controller.
With the launch of new Apple TV, Apple will try to give tough competition to other high-end gaming consoles that are already available in market — such as Microsoft’s Xbox One and Sony’s PlayStation 4.
A couple of weeks ago, Apple sent out Media invites to September 9’s event where the company is all set to unveil new iPhones and its new variant of Apple TV.
However, it’s yet to be seen whether or not Apple will target casual gamers who do not fancy high-end gaming consoles.
