Apple slashes price of Apple TV to Rs. 5900 in India

Apple TV gaming attachment accessory maybe coming soon, says report

Yesterday at Apple Event, Cupertino-based giant- Apple announced few new gadgets to their range of hardware including a new ultra-thin MacBook Air and Apple Watch with some fabulous apps and features that users will able to enjoy.

Apple also reduced the worth of their media streamer – Apple TV, which is now available to purchase for $69, down from the $99 price tag in the United States. The price cut is not limited to the US market, with the Apple TV also receiving similar price drops elsewhere.

As per reports we expected, Apple TV will now retail at Rs. 5,900 in India, a drop of over Rs. 2,000 from the past MRP. While that surely makes the Apple TV more reasonably priced, it still has its job cut out contending against the Google Chromecast that are available at half the price.

Apple TV is a box-shaped device that connects to your TV via the HDMI port and lets you stream HD videos, TV Programs, Live Sport, Music, Photos and many more from Internet. Outer India, the Apple TV also supports Netflix and other services like HBO Now.

With AirPlay, Apple has also made it easy for the users to stream content from your iOS devices and Mac directly on your TV. Using Home Sharing, users can now play downloaded music and movies from iTunes on their Apple TV.

But don’t fail to recall Apple TV does need an HDMI cable that are sold separately. For more details about the new Apple TV and its price go to the Apple’s official website.
