Apple enters into an exclusive partnership with Flipkart to sell iPhone 7 in India

Flipkart will soon add the recently launched Apple flagships to its kitty, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Indian e-commerce platform has entered into an exclusive partnership with Apple to sell iPhone 7 series on its platform. The front page of Flipkart read “iPhone 7 coming soon.’’

It seems like both iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will arrive on the launch date itself i.e. October 7. The front page advertisement lands to a page which elaborates the specifications and features of the phone. For now, there is no option of pre-ordering the phones.

Apple dealers accepting iPhone 7 pre-orders

A few days back, we informed you about the authorized dealers in the Northern part of India accepting iPhone 7 and 7 Plus pre-orders. iWorld is one of them where you can select the color and storage capacity of the phone you want to reserve. Other than that, Apple’s Premium Partner Unicorn is also accepting pre-bookings where you have to pay Rs. 5000 for the same.

Meanwhile, Apple has dropped the price of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in India by up to Rs. 22,000. On the other hand, there is no change in the pricing of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in India. You can expect the final declaration about the prices of these smartphones ahead of the iPhone 7 launch in India.

Apple iPhone 7 Specifications

Talking about the latest iPhone 7, Apple has ditched the 3.5mm jack and also the 16GB storage variant. The iPhone 7 comes with a base model of 32GB; the other two variants are 128GB and 256GB. Besides, a new wireless AirPods have also been launched which comes in a wireless design. The iPhone 7 and its Plus version pack A10 Fusion chipset, bigger battery, Retina HD display, and stereo speakers at both sides of the phone. It comes in two new color options – matte black and jet black.

The sale of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus is expected to boost in India after the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 battery issue. Samsung has been the top selling brands in India for some time now, but now it has to regain the customers’ confidence alongside betting the sales of iPhone 7 in India.
