iPhone 7

There are a plethora of rumors on the web regarding iPhone 7 specs and release date. Expected to be released in September 2016, the iPhone 7 will not feature a headphone jack. However, it will have a faster Touch ID, complete waterproof design, including a unibody metal glass.

Three iPhone 7 Display variants: 4-inch, 4.7-inch, and 5.5-inch

On the specifications front, the iPhone 7 will feature a wide range of display sizes – 4-inch, 4.7-inch, and 5.5-inch. Even though the standard variant ships with 2GB RAM, the higher models will be equipped with 3GB RAM. As per reports coming in from unconfirmed sources, the premium tier of iPhone 7 will bear dual camera specifications and high battery capacity, coupled with an A10 chip.

Recently, a leaked image of iPhone 7 appeared on the web, and it shows all glass metal unibody with exact dimensions as the existing available models. We saw that antenna lines have been placed on the top and bottom of the device.

In the leaked image, an extra mysterious hole was spotted between the protruding camera hardware and dual-LED flash. We believe that it should be that of the microphone. There are reports that the iPhone 7 ships with a noise-cancelling microphone.

There is a widespread speculation that the second hole is dedicated to a laser autofocus module, which enables the device to focus accurately and quickly. Moreover, integrating an autofocus module will allow you to capture great clarity images in low light conditions.

There are rumors that the premium variant of iPhone 7 will be equipped with a smart connector, which enables you to connect to an Apple smart keyboard. Recently, @OnLeaks, a reliable leaker, revealed an image of the iPhone 7 Plus and a higher variant case schematics, which clearly portrays the presence of a Smart Connector.

iPhone 7 to come with Smart Connector?

Interestingly, the leaked image does not showcase the bottom of the device. Hence, we don’t have any idea as to whether the 3.5mm headphone jack has been genuinely incorporated. It is possible that the jack could be replaced with stereo speakers as well.

As per rumors, there is a possibility for Apple to release a 5-inch iPhone 7 and will also integrate iOS 10 in all variants. Moreover, the upcoming iPhone will ship with Apple Pay loaded by default.
