Apple in 2016, the expectations: iPhone 7, 6C, iPad Air 3, Watch 2, and MacBook Air 15

Apple might welcome 2016 with its new range of devices, and apart from that, it might also introduce some new ways of driving revenue through its already existing services include iTunes, Apple Music, App Store and Apple Pay. The year 2016 might also witness Apple’s emphasis on business as it topped the list in 2015 worth $25 billion.

Talking about the Apple iPad, sales might not be as high as they were during the initial two years after its launch. However, analysts say that the latest 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro is expected to turn the tablet sales in the coming year.

Apple iPhone 7

Ming-Chi Kuo, a research Analyst from KGI Securities, states that the Apple iPhone 7 would have a thickness of 6.5mm, which is thinner as compared to its predecessor. New features on offer are wireless charging, increased memory and water-resistance.

Apple is planning to incorporate Lightning connector in place of the headset jack in Apple iPhone 7 and will also unveil Lightning-equipped EarPods, which enables you to connect to the port.

Apple iPhone 6C

There are rumors of a 4-inch smartphone being launched by Apple, the iPhone 6C. Sporting a metal case, it is believed that the style would be similar to that of Apple iPhone 6S Plus and iPhone 6S.

Apple Watch 2

There are anticipations of Apple Watch 2 bringing in several improvements in the coming year such as a thinner display, less dependence on iPhone and FaceTime Camera, although no changes would be made to its battery.

Apple iPad Air 3

Apple iPad Air 3 would be upgraded in the 1st quarter of 2016. Although its specifications remain unknown, there are rumors of iPad Air 3 featuring a pressure-sensitive 3D touch display technology.

Apple MacBook Air 15-inch with Retina Display

There are strong rumors spreading about the release of new MacBook Air model which will boast a 15-inch Retina display under the body of a 13-inch sized laptop. The new MacBook Air is expected to release at WWDC 2016.

Apple Streaming Television Service

Apple would use its Apple TV streaming box and App Store so that media companies can market their services and apps. Forecasts say that it would contribute $500 million to the revenue for December.
