The Amazon has launched the next iteration of Alexa o Echo smart speakers and the new Echo Spot alarm clock. The company has unveiled the two variants of the smart speaker, i.e., Echo Plus and Echo Spot. Both the speakers come with a second generation far-field technology for even better performance. Moreover, the Echo Spot alarm clock is packed with an acoustic beam-forming technology and enhanced noise cancellation.
Echo
The New Echo sports a compact signature cylindrical shape which is similar to its predecessor. The speaker is packed with a 2.5-inch downward-firing woofer, Dolby Digital support, and far-field microphone technology for picking up voice commands precisely. The speaker adheres a compact design, and it comes in six color variants.
Echo Plus
The Echo Plus speaker is enriched by a 360-degree omnidirectional audio and Dolby support which offers deeper bass and crisper high notes for better audio experience. Moreover, the device can also act a smart hub which helps to connect to compatible smart home devices. This smart speaker will automatically discover and set up compatible lights, plugs, switches, locks and more without the need for additional apps.
The Echo Plus is also packed with a next-generation far-field technology for even better experience. The speaker is equipped with Alexa Routines feature which allows users to automate a series of customizable actions by using a single voice command of their choice.
Echo Spot
The Echo Spot is a smart compact alarm clock which packs a 2.5-inch circular display, next-gen acoustic beam-forming technology, far-field mix technology with four microphones, and enhanced noise cancellation. This smart clock can easily connect to the speakers via Bluetooth or 3.5mm audio cable to add voice control to your home stereo system. Moreover, now users can make calls on Echo Spot via its built-in camera feature.

The New Echo comes in a six color variants, i.e., charcoal, sandstone, heather gray, oak veneer, walnut veneer, and silver.
