Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K with HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision launched in India

Amazon has released the new Fire TV stick 4K in India that comes with the new Alexa Voice remote. The new Fire TV 4K stick with bundle is priced at INR 5,999, though the standalone cost of the remote is INR 1,999. Both devices are now open for pre-bookings on Amazon India, while shipping starts from November 14.

In terms of specifications, the new Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. Amazon claims its new fire stick is 80 percent more powerful than its predecessor. The device also supports 4K Ultra HD playback, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. With support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+ standards, the new Fire Stick TV will offer more detail giving users a more immersive experience.

Amazon further adds that integrating the Fire TV Stick 4K with Alexa will users to check news updates, view live camera feeds, book a cab, order food, and stream music with voice commands.

It’s also the first Fire product that offers a dedicated remote with new volume and mute buttons. So users can control volume right from the stick instead of having to switch to their TV or speaker remote.

Finally, Amazon also mentioned that the existing Fire TV Stick ( now available at INR 3,999) launched last year will also get Alexa integration via software update.
