The messaging app WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature on Tuesday. This latest feature allows users to update status text in the specific font and multiple colors while posting. WhatsApp is trying to get submerged in the essence of social media app from a year and so. The status feature is restricted in a timeframe of 24 hours, and after that, it automatically gets deleted.
This latest WhatsApp update features a floating pencil button and camera icon tab on the status bar. Users can tap on the icon to upload colored text status. Also, users can select the font, add emojis and an option to change the background color to design colored text status. Further, after completing this process, users have to click on green arrow icon which is situated at the bottom right to post Status.
With this latest update now users can update their contacts in quite a personal way. Whether it is a vacation recommendation or notify for a party with an address, everything now can be done with ease. Now users can easily customize text status with an ease of alteration of a particular font and background color or include links. Notably, WhatsApp status feature is quite similar to SnapChat stories in which users easily share. This feature is now available on both Android and iOS devices.
