One of the handset to watch out for in 2018 is the upcoming Oppo Find X. The handset is slated for its official debut at an event in Paris on June 19. A few of the handset’s marquee features such as a curved bezel-free display are already known. Today, the Chinese manufacturer confirmed some other high-end features of the handset which are certainly the most advanced ever found on modern day handsets.

Key sources have confirmed that the Oppo Find X will come equipped with Super VOOC charging technology. So, what’s the big deal here? Well, this fast charging technology allows users to recharge a 2500mAh battery from 0-100 percent in a matter of 15 minutes.

Elsewhere, Oppo has also confirmed that the handset will come equipped with 5x lossless zoom it showcased last year at MWC. In addition, the company also confirmed that the Oppo Find X will come with 5G support as well as 3D facial recognition for secure payments, as seen on the iPhone X and the newly unveiled Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition.

As far as specs are concerned, the Oppo Find X is rumoured to feature a 6.42-inch OLED bezel-free display with 2K resolution having an aspect ratio of 18:9. Under the hood, the handset is expected to run the latest Snapdragon 845 processor bundled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. Juicing up the handset is said to be a 4000mAh battery with Super VOOC charging, along with wireless charging. Optics on the handset will include a dual-lens camera setup with 5X Lossless zoom technology.

More details about the handset should surface on the web as we near its official launch date on June 19. We’ll update you as soon as we hear anything new.
