Nissan Sunny launched with unique safety features, starts at Rs 7.91 lakh

Nissan has launched the new variant of the budget friendly sedan Sunny in India with special reference to safety aspects at Rs. 7.91 lakh. The new model is all set to break all the rules and will create new dimensions in the auto industry,

During the launch event, the company revealed that the latest release of Sunny is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. If you look at the petrol version, the vehicle is powered by a 1,498cc engine. However, the diesel model is equipped with a 1461cc engine.

Commenting on the launch, Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India disclosed that the company is constantly listening to the voice of customers who provide valuable feedback via email and social media. Malhotra added that the latest Sunny 2017 features a very spacious interior with a comfortable drive feel including the integration of the fuel-efficient engines.

The newly launched Nissan Sunny is equipped with features such as push button start. Moreover, it offers an improved safety option such as anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), and brake assist (BA) in both petrol and diesel variants. With particular reference to safety, the Nissan Sunny comes with dual front and side airbags.

While the petrol variant of Nissan Sunny is expected to cost between Rs. 7.91 lakh and Rs. 10.89 lakh, the diesel model is available from Rs. 8.8 lakh and Rs. 10.76 lakh. The company has sold over 16 million units worldwide, and Sunny stays on top of all other cars.
