Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus launched: Price, Specifications, Features, and more

Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus were officially launched today in India at an event in New Delhi. Both handsets will be available exclusively on Amazon India, along with physical stores across the country. The Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus are targeted at the budget segment and will rival the likes of the Redmi Note 5, Oppo Realme 1, and the Samsung Galaxy J6.

Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 Specifications:

The Moto E5 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ display having an aspect ratio of 18:9. On the other hand, the larger Moto E5 Plus comes with a 6-inch IPS display with an HD+ resolution and has an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Under the hood, the Moto E5 gets powered by Snapdragon 425 processor, while the Moto E5 Plus runs Snapdragon 435 SoC. The Moto E5 gets 2GB of RAM while the Moto E5 Plus is equipped with 3GB of RAM.

As far as storage goes, the Moto E5 comes with 16GB of built-in storage, while the E5 Plus gets 32GB of on-board storage. Both handsets come with support for expandability via microSD slot upto 256GB.

In the photography department, the Moto E5 has a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP selfie camera. On the other hand, the Moto E5 Plus comes with a 12MP primary camera and a 8MP front-facing shooter. Juicing up the Moto E5 is a 4000mAh battery while the Moto E5 Plus packs a hefty 5000mAh battery. Both handsets support dual SIM cards and run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Moto E5, Moto E5 Plus Price and Offers in India

The Moto E5 gets a price tag of Rs 9,999 in India. The handset is already available for purchase via Amazon India, Moto Hub stores, as well as leading physical stores across the country. Offers at a launch include 130GB of additional data from Reliance Jio. Buyers who use the PayTm Mall app to purchase he device at Moto Hub stores are also entitled to get Rs 1200 cashback on mobile bill payments, utility payments, or recharges.

The Moto E5 Plus, meanwhile, gets a slight higher price tag of Rs 11,999. The device will be available for purchase at 12 am midnight on July 11. The device will be exclusive to Amazon India and can also be purchased via Moto Hub stores across the country.

Launch offers include the 130GB additional data from Reliance Jio, as well as the Moto Hub-Patym Mall offer. SBI customers can avail a cashback of Rs 800 on the purchase.
