Airtel earlier this year has announced Summer Surprise offer where it offered postpaid customers free 30GB data for three months at 10GB per month via the MyAirtel app. The company later extended the offer by another 30 days for those who haven’t claimed the data yet and today the company has announced that it extended the offer for another 3 billing cycles as a part of Monsoon Surprise.
Airtel Postpaid users who haven’t claimed the additional data can now avail the offer via the MyAirtel app after 1st July 2017 that will be valid until September 2017. This move comes from the fact that Airtel and other telecom operators in India are having a hard time since Jio’s commercial launch. To retain their users, operators are trying their best in providing offers to customers. Airtel is currently offering unlimited calling and 1GB data per day for 28days with a recharge of Rs.349 and unlimited calling with 2GB data per for 28 days with a recharge of Rs.549.
Airtel in a statement says that “We are, and will always be, committed to nurturing this special relationship with you.” It has to be seen what has in store for the future.
